TITAN 2K13 FINALS X AJ11 PLAYOFFS RELEASE EVENT RECAP

And so it was: The basketball footwear authority TITAN has finally released the Air Jordan 11 Playoffs - the year's most anticipated shoe. Coinciding with this epic drop is the Finals of their 2nd (do I dare say ANNUAL...) 2K13 Tournament.

Thursday, December 20 - Legions of Titan loyalists came down upon the RONAC Arts Center to get their much coveted pair of Air Jordan 11 Playoffs (or BRed 11s, as most fondly call them).

The place, even though packed, was far from chaotic... You have got to respect Titan's methods of handling such giant releases! From the second the customer approaches the table up until the time he grabs his bagged pair - that transaction was designed to take less than a minute to close. And guess what folks, Titan delivered like clockwork!

On the flip side - at around 1:00PM, the Titan 2K13 Tournament was underway. With the likes of MC Paolo hosting and DJ Ace Ramos providing the tunes (which were bangers, by the way...) even non-participants were all hyped up and shit!

The house was exploding with energy, and I have a feeling the food had something to do with it. Aside from the mainstay Sabrett Hotdogs, the homie Mackie's food venture EAT MY GF also made its way to the event... Feeding the hungry crowd who happens to have a hankering for good food.

Completing the event are the great people that came thru and showed their support. It's quite a long list; you know who you are anyway... So shout outs to you for giving love!

From a personal standpoint, I never had any idea how much work was being put into releases of this scale... Until that day. That's because Titan has always made it look easy. I am extremely proud of the team and how we did things! So if I may say, we all deserve a pat on the back. We ain't getting comfortable though... We got to soldier on, because we're on to the next one.

WELEGENDARY 4TH ANNIVERSARY SALE

The fam turns 4! Last year was insane, remember? The line snaked from the store all the way to the ground floor! Expect the same this year... Nah, I bet things will be crazier! So prepare your sleeping bags, your baby wipes, and your breath mints... It's campout time! I'm telling you, it will all be worth it.

TITAN X NIKE AIR YEEZY 2 RELEASE EVENT RECAP

Still recovering from my two-day drinking spree, I am at it again to rep The Locker Room... This time for Titan's Yeezy 2 release party! We thought we will never see these in actual... We thought we will never have the chance to score a pair... But the fam from Lightning Country did it again! For Love Of The Game.

Titan pulled out all the stops to set this private release party off for all the footwear afficionados, celebrities, ball players and personalities in the metro. Only six pairs were up for grabs. Personally, I'm just happy to see everyone and have a drink with them... If I win, then it's all gravy! I won't lie though... I wanted a pair, but I won't spend the night worrying about it when partying with friends and fam is helluva lot better than a pair of limiteds! Haha did I sound salty? It felt like The Hunger Games when they started drawing names... Only in reverse. It was all good though!

I'm proud of Titan and what it did for us sneaker enthusiasts. Technically, The Yeezy 2s are not ball shoes, so Titan had no business carrying it... But they did. They made sure the P.I. got its share of the Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy! So props to the brothers Jeff, Dennis, Uli, Rely, and Levon... Salute! Nothing but love for you, homies.

Next, shouts to Miss Mae for making it possible for us to party like this! Shouts to Team LMS for blessing the event with their presence. Shouts to Jojo for being the mobile bar, to the brother Marcus Prolifik for dropping by and providing good photos! "ANG SARAP NG PUTO NI..." /// FRANK 151 LAUNCH X THE DECK SALE

Okay. I'll be real with you, fam... I had NO idea what Frank 151 was until hours before the event. I was in my office waiting for traffic to die down when I decided to google it. I didn't want to be a chump and attend an event I was totally clueless about.

Turns out... It's the dopest thing ever. Here.

I can't really quantify nor qualify what makes it great. In some way it's the social maverick's guide to life. It's art, literature, photography, and a bit of social awareness cut in a 4" x 6" x 1" cube that you can carry around in your pocket. What made it extra nice is that CHAPTER 45 (the entire issue) is solely dedicated to The Philippines and it's culture. Made me feel so proud that a publication such as this took time (and of course, valuable press coverage) to showcase us Pinoys. So in lieu of an authentic Pinoy fiesta, RONAC patrons and well-wishers had a potluck of All-Filipino dishes... A mini pistang pambarrio in the heart of the most urban structure in the metro.

Anyway, you got to check it out for yourself. If you got a copy, you know what I'm talking about. If you know someone who has a copy, ask if you can borrow it for the night...

To those who made this possible, those who pitched the idea... Those who contributed and went out of their way to give us Chapter 45, isang tagay para sa inyo! Congrats!
