VANS is on a roll as of late. Fresh from their very successful event last Saturday, it seems that the locally revitalized skate and lifestyle brand can not be stopped.

I will admit that I know little about the brand, and I would like to know them better. They have been churning out hot releases lately, and I think the buzz around the brand is growing bigger and bigger each day.

It's a shame that I only have a couple of pairs in my closet. I should kick myself, I know... But with this bit, I no longer have any excuse not to expand my line-up!

Credibility, legitimacy and loyalty fuel longevity - on their fourth year in the biz, WeLegendary has all that and more. With a growing base of loyal customers, it seems that everyone's favorite skateshop can not be stopped... And here's proof.

The fam opened another store over at One Archer's Place, Taft Ave. It's a forgone conclusion that the WeLegendary boys will deliver a banger of an event, as they always do. Even the torrential rain, bad weather and horrible traffic did not stop the wLoyalists from flocking Taft and celebrating with the crew.

Cess and I got there late and its a shame we weren't able to hang with everyone. We were able to kick it with the wL fam tho! Love and props to the big bro Mark for the very successful opening! Thank you for having us! Props to the whole wL crew! Salutes to you, homies.

I have no words. Big brother @WeLegendary did it again! I missed out on a recent Gourmet release, and I've been salty about it since... This time, I won't let this pass.

And surprisingly these babies found its way to our doors.

It has been about 3 years since we had a chance to carry PRIMITIVE. It's funny that we share the same founding date on when our shops started.

They had this collab with GOURMET about a year ago putting interesting ideas like these subtleties are patent leather foxing that wraps around the entire shoe. Ballistic nylon and a transparent bottom tread let you know this colorway was inspired by one of their favorite retro kicks. (If you are a JORDAN fan, you should know this by now).

We are glad to have Gourmet on our door FINALLY, and glad for them to give us these EXCLUSIVE release for us.

Last Saturday at KYSS, the fam got together with WeLegendary to celebrate the release of the fabled NONTOURAGE Dunks.

Cess and I, splitting headaches and all, braved the traffic and the sloth-inducing weather to pop bottles for a shoe that wasn't even supposed to reach our shores, let alone see in the flesh. Trust WeLegendary to pull a miracle! Thank you Mark!

The night was also a good excuse to see everyone and catch up on ish! Shouts to Jojo (VIP life all night. Much appreciated, man!), Martin, Team LMS' VO Mackie, Jason, Carlo and Dominic! Julo, Moy, Mav, Paolo and Jo, and comeback kid Reginald - great to see you again, buddy!
