In our family, all men are expected to go out in to the world as La Sallites. Whether you graduate from LSGH, or Zobel (like my brother and I), or got your degree from DLSU... It does not matter. As long as you got some La Sallian green in your blood, you're good.
I'm a 3rd generation La Sallite, and I've heard my fair share of legendary La Sallian stories. Like when back in the day the St. Joseph Building towered over everything, to why there is a hall inside that was named after our family, and how that guy is related to us, to how the DLSC vs ADMU NCAA rivalry became very violent and people would see it as "just another game" (DLSU was called DLSC then).
But one story stands true until this very day. There is no place like the Taft Ave. billiard halls. My father and uncle would waste away their day, allowance included, in that place! If yous a sucker on pool, it's best to just stay out of the room. Those game halls are now pretty much a part of DLSU's long standing heritage as much as any building inside the campus.
But one establishment is out to match the legend of the smokey pool dens of Taft Ave. Minus the shady atmosphere, of course! Years from now, people will talk about this place, and how it changed Animo Ave.'s landscape for the better.
TITAN opened their 4th store in Taft avenue last Friday... And it was nothing short of amazing. Lucky for me, I was right smack in the middle of history - on the very night it opened - perfect story to share with the my future La Sallite kids and grand kids!

ReplyDeletetitan is a such a BS store just like all the nike parks and stadium, they say that there are no politics, i doubt that even people who are not in the lottery got the galaxy foams, and some people there without even lining up they just enter and buy shoes, BS! and they just resell it after, and is it 1 shoe per customer? liar!! you see people coming out with 3 shoes and then resell them after, tsk tsk. you are destroying the shoe game.
