FROM THE SUBURBS TO THE STADIUM /// TITAN KATIPUNAN INTERIORS

Photobucket
Here's a quick look at Titan Katipunan's interiors. It stood out because even though it shares the same mold with it's first two locations (Forbes Wood Heights and RONAC), this incarnation became the evolution of what any good ball player is hoping for.

Unlike the home grounded, warm, and almost rustic aesthetic of the flagship store at The Fort, Katipunan's exuded a "just got drafted / I'm playing in the league" semi-industrial feel... Symbolically taking their game from the humble suburbs, to the bright lights of the stadium.

Titan Katipunan went away with it's trademark red bricks and switched it up with grey. They traded their wood plank flooring for grey slate tiles. All wooden accents were still very masculine, dark and complimentary, but added a new wall feature that solidified it's concept: A brightly stained locker room/dugout style cubicle.

What I loved is that Titan kept the integrity of the barber stations. Being one of my favorite places, I have a very deep and religious respect for a good barbershop; and I'm sure most men do as well. Titan understood very well this unspoken male reverence so they kept it very understated and efficient. Premium barber chairs were once again utilized at both stations. And to add that home-style warmth that Titan is well known for, they posted great rustic artwork by SBTG around the area, and throwback photos of "The Jet" were mounted in the shampoo room; memories from days when he was still paying his dues on his way to becoming a legend.

I can safely say that the interiors were refreshingly new, but still very familiar. It was straight-forward, but not cold; effective, but not compromised.

See Titan Katipunan for yourself! Located at 3rd Floor, Regis Center, Katipunan Ave., Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
